Below I am forwarding this urgent newsletter from the Executive-Director of The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition.
This concerns a current provincial Kill-Bill to bypass the Federal Government’s vote in 2010, against the legalization of euthanasia in any shape or form and decorated with any name or title. After three KILL-BILLS in a row by Francine Lalonde were voted down, the Quebec government and elements inside the Royal Society of Canada just would not take no for an answer.
When these people insist that euthanasia is about people’s choice, and they want you to feel that a democracy has to be pro-euthanasia, how democratic are they when they themselves reject the outcome of democratic votes?–Instead, they throw a hissy-fit, something my wife used to say.
Over the past few years, the CBC Television and Radio network have clearly shown a bias in favor of giving excessive-coverage, to the Right to Die Societies’ agenda to bully and scare Canadians. They want Canadians to feel that their market for death, is salvation to everyone who feels that their physical or mental suffering is too much to bare any more.–And the CBC is right there, any time they want to be on stage, have a documentary or even a soap-opera.
In Quebec, they have a TV show called, Just For Laughs. They use that show to make fun of people who are blind, and nobody does anything to stop it. It could cause people to attack blind people, and the CBC would get their lawyers to get them off the hook, with "Free-Speech" and "Freedom of Expression" laws.
The Duty-to-Die network tell their audiences that the reason they can’t legalize euthanasia here is, because the Canadian Criminal-Code is based on religious laws. Since 2007, during a slow recovery from a respiratory-failure the previous year, I read most of the information available via the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition newsletters, newspapers and blogs.
There were cases where EPC intervened, where doctors wanted to terminate patients, even one patient in Winnipeg, who wanted to die naturally. In all the cases I’ve studied, I never read information which suggested that patients’ religious criteria was the rule to go by. All the information processed goes to making the best reasonable decisions by the patient, or the patient’s legal guardian in accordance to his/her choice. More people have Living Wills written up these days, but even though people’s Living Will make it clear, agents of death think they know better.
Hospital errors lead to "dead" patient opening eyes during organ harvesting
Read the above article to see the type of mistakes which already happen in hospital environments. If euthanasia was legalized, you would have all kinds of people who would end up being executed. A few years ago there was a news report where patients were taken to the wrong operating-room, patients taken to somebody else’s surgery, etc. Quebec wants their newest KILL-BILL, Bill-52, called "Medical-Aid in Dying". LOL
Hospital medical errors now the third leading cause of death in the U.S.
In hospitals, the rate of success being able to transfer information from person A to person C and D, the way person A gave the information, is not very good. So, just think how complicated it gets, when legalized euthanasia has patients awaiting their executions?
Please contact the CRTC and the CBC, as described in the newsletter below.
Thankyou for taking the time to read this, and to respond.
