If the first three days of the bail-hearing were not emotional enough, and yesterday the prosecution did not appreciate a good verbal bitch-slap from the defense, today’s hearing began electically-charged against the police-officer leading the investigation.
The poor prosecutor who has maintained his crushing accusations against the defendent, and the corporate news-media hammer away at his alleged guilt, fail to consider that “defendents” are “innocent” unless proven to be guilty, by a fair trial.
The trial has not even begun, and pretty serious events are happening as the prosecutor attempts to block Oscar’s bail until the trial starts. Before the hearing began, an emergency meeting was held as officer Hilton Botha was busted for attempted murder, of seven people on a bus.
Botha was accused of being drunk with the other three officers, while he debunks being drunk, and that they were pursuing suspects. The problem is, that alot of cops get away with corruption in every country, and this guy was allowed to walk. Doesn’t this make the prosecutor feel a little embarrassed?–No! He was quite content to keep him on the case, to keep Pistorius in jail.
All that officer Botha has going for himself are:
1. a string of errors in handling the crime-scene
2. errors in their investigation and
3. accusations of deliberately murdering Reeva Steenkamp.
A woman who claims she is a lawyer, demanded Pistorius’ evaluation by psychiatrists. She, apparently used to be married to Oscar’s surgeon (or something), and she wanted the court to hear how violent he was. Her application was rejected, and she had the nerve to insist that the Judge himself be removed from the case.
A 2009 accusation of violence against a woman, at his place, turned out to be a liar, who injured herself by kicking a door. I’ll tell you, as soon as any man happens to be well-known, there will be a long list of women who want to make money off him. Fact or fiction don’t matter, as long as they can hopefully get their name in the papers–somehow.
Oscar Pistorius’ lawyer came on, that if his defendent is guilty of premeditated murder, why would he execute her in the bathroom locked door, instead of in bed? If he wanted her dead so bad, he could have killed her in bed. Defense went on with the efforts made by Oscar, to smash the door open with a cricket-stick, carry her downstairs, call emergency help, police and perform CPR trying to revive her.
The supposed house owned by Oscar in Italy, turns out to be a government training facility and hotel.–All hail, to the witnesses who tell the world how guilty Pistorius is, and the trial has not begun.
Barry Roux is demonstrating his role in proving that the flaws in evidence against Oscar, is full of holes. The idea that Pistorius is a flight-risk out of the country, is riduclous.
