If there ever was a Civil Rights case, the Terri Schiavo case was the Civil Rights case of the 21st Century

"Sharpton: Congress should grill Jena DA" Why?–Because it took six thugs to smash up one school kid, and they need to be prosecuted?

Wasn’t it Al Sharpton who lectured Congress to let Terri Schiavo die?–And he didn’t know a single FACT associated with the case.

What Congress should really do is investigate Sharpton. Him and Jesse Jackson are real opportunists. This crap about Civil Rights for Blacks stinks.

If there ever was a Civil Rights case, the Terri Schiavo case was the Civil Rights case of the 21st Century. What did Jesse Jackson do when Terri Schiavo’s mother called him for help? Did he get off his ass, and organize 50,000 Civil Rights demonstrators from around the U.S. to descend on Clearwater, Florida?–No! He let the torture continue another week.

Then he decided to come down there, not as the powerful Civil Rights leader with his forces on the streets, but as the "Reverend Jesse Jackson"! Now now, y’all! Be calm, everybody. Don’t get emotional or violent, because this is just some disabled woman being tortured to death by a Scientologist judge.

If Terri Schiavo had been an African-American, all those old fart Black Civil Rights leaders would have had hundreds of thousands of demonstrators in every major U.S. city on the rampage. Riots would have errupted throughout the country, and Judge Greer and Michael Schiavo’s butts would have been smoked meat for Easter Sunday.

In the Terri Schiavo 2005 Easter prolonged torture and dehydration execution, they didn’t even know all the evidence of Michael Schiavo’s history of violence and intimidation, which Judge Greer refused to introduce as part of the court case.

Comments by a poster really made a good point below: remoh186

"I find it interesting that this protest is occuring even though the only person convicted thus far had their conviction over turned. Where is the unequal justice? The DA overstepped his authority and the higher court corrected it. The system worked."
